Recruitment and outsourcing group Harvey Nash has taken on David Bezem as a non-executive director, ahead of the pre-announced appointment of a new chair of the company next month.

Bezem joins the board on 1 June and has over 25 years’ experience providing corporate finance advice, focusing on the support services and media sectors. He was most recently managing director at the corporate finance business of Altium.

At Harvey Nash’s annual general meeting on 20 June, chair Ian Kirkpatrick is to retire, to be succeeded by Julie Baddeley, with non-exec Ian Davis also taking on a more senior role.

As reported by recruiter.co.uk earlier this week, Harvey Nash is aiming for 70% of group net fee income to be generated outside of the UK in the next few years.
