Sodexo’s Morgan is In-House Recruiter of the Year

Jo Morgan, a senior HR manager at contract catering firm Sodexo Prestige, has scooped In-House Recruiter of the Year honours at last night’s Recruiter Awards for Excellence, sponsored by Eploy.

Jo Morgan (left), a senior HR manager at contract catering firm Sodexo Prestige, has scooped In-House Recruiter of the Year honours at last night’s Recruiter Awards for Excellence, sponsored by Eploy.
She took gold in a four-man field for her work finding 3,000 people every day to work over 1m man-hours during the 2012 Olympic Games. Working 16-hour days in the first week of set up and operation, Morgan achieved cost savings of around £1.4m for Sodexo.
The event, recognising the best and brightest of in-house and agency recruitment and recruitment process outsourcing was hosted by Ed Byrne at a packed Grosvenor House Hotel in London’s Mayfair.
In addition, money was raised for SoldierOn!, Recruiter's charity of choice for 2013-14, through a charity casino. This is the second time Recruiter has partnered with the organisation, which works to enable disabled ex-servicemen and women into meaningful, long-term employment.
