Tue, 18 Jun 2013Northern Ireland-based veterinary pharmaceuticals maker Norbrook Laboratories is to take on 400 new staff as it pushes to meet expectations of further demand from global markets.

This comes the week after Almac, another international pharma firm in the region, announced its own expansion and job creating plans.

Recruitment manager James Gibbs says: “The new jobs will be spread right across the full spectrum of our operation and will range from high-end, senior positions through to committed and motivated production operatives, all offering extremely competitive and attractive salaries.”

The firm has announced a first recruitment open day to take place next Tuesday (25 June) in Belfast’s Europa Hotel, welcoming jobseekers interested in roles in science and also across the business, including finance, HR, production, sales and transport.

The company employs 3,000 people globally, half of these in Newry, Northern Ireland, has manufacturing facilities in four continents, and sells to 120 countries worldwide.
