Market recovery sees Michael Page head to recruit in LA

Professional recruiter Michael Page is opening an office in Los Angeles following a “huge market recovery” in the state of California, according to the company’s leader for the region.

Roberto Machado, senior managing director for West Coast USA, notes “industry sectors such as technology, gaming, entertainment, media and manufacturing coming back strongly” in the area.

The LA office includes some qualified executives transferred from other US Michael Page branches including New York and San Francisco, and local hires. It will be headed by Machado himself, who has been with Michael Page for 12 years and has set up five other offices globally for the company.

Michael Page has been in the US for 15 years, and has eight offices across the country.
