Wed, 5 Feb 2014Global recruitment agency Michael Page has launched a specialist recruitment offering within its business – Property & Construction – in Perth, Western Australia.

The branch has been opened as a result of increased demand for property and construction talent last year and the expected strength of the property and construction industry in 2014.

The new team, led by Kate McGreavy, will focus on recruiting construction talent at management level, including construction/site managers and contracts administrators, as well as project management talent within the consultancy space for domestic, interstate and international companies.

David George, regional director of Michael Page in Australia, says: “Companies across the property and construction sector see the recent decline in mining business activity as an opportunity to up-skill their staff and expand their business offering in 2014.

“Furthermore, the property and construction industry is expected to be relatively strong in 2014 so it makes sense to have a dedicated team that is focused exclusively on servicing the needs of both candidates and employers within this sector.”
