US construction industry to hire 100,000 veterans by 2019

Speaking at a National Symposium on Veterans Employment in Construction in Washington DC, she said hiring veterans isn’t only the right thing to do, but would help companies and the US economy grow.

The agreement, involving more than 100 companies, comes as the construction industry is poised to gain more than 1.5m jobs by 2022, at an annual growth rate of 2.6%.
