The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) is creating over 430 short-term jobs in regional Australia to support a census field test in the lead up to the 2016 census of population and housing.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) is creating over 430 short-term jobs in regional Australia to support a census field test in the lead up to the 2016 census of population and housing.
Around 50 census area supervisors and 380 census field officers will be hired throughout Western and South Australia.
The census field staff will be required for a variety of short-term supervisory and non-supervisory jobs between April and September 2014, with the jobs requiring work in urban, rural and remote communities of Australia.
