Multi-sector recruitment consultancy Robert Walters has posted a rise in global revenue for the year-end 31 December 2013, up 5% to £597.7m.

Multi-sector recruitment consultancy Robert Walters has posted a rise in global revenue for the year-end 31 December 2013, up 5% to £597.7m.
Gross profit increased by 6% to £199.2m, compared with 2012’s figure of £188.4m, while operating profit increased by 28% to £10.8m.
In the UK, net fee income increased by 15% to £57.2m, with regional businesses and resource solutions being standout performers.
Robert Walters, chief executive officer, comments: “We delivered a strong performance in 2013, increasing profit by 30% (41% in constant currency), highlighting the strength of our diverse business model and international brand.
“Trading for the first two months of 2014 has been encouraging. While we are seeing definite signs of recovery in some of our markets, others including Australia and France remain challenging.”
