Global staffing giant Adecco has launched the ‘Adecco Experience’ to help young people on to the jobs ladder by offering work placements in UK companies during July.

Global staffing giant Adecco has launched the ‘Adecco Experience’ to help young people on to the jobs ladder by offering work placements in UK companies during July.
Adecco is offering 100 placements across the world, four within the UK, while one successful entrant will get the chance to work with Adecco’s global chief executive officer Patrick De Maeseneire for one month.
The four work experience roles available in the UK are:
Selection for the CEO position will be made in July from among those candidates who successfully land a one-month job through the Adecco Experience.
To apply, candidates must upload a 30-second video telling Adecco what their core talent is by 31 May 2014. The applications and videos will be submitted to Adecco recruitment experts for the final selection process, with successful candidates taking up their roles during July.
All winners will be paid a salary, alongside advice and support about career development and securing a job.

- Business administration assistant for the London Fire Brigade
- Accounts assistant at Oxley Group in Cumbria, which makes lighting and electronics for the military and rail industries
- A customer service role at Arco in Hull, a supplier of safety equipment
- An administrator role at a well-known large public sector company
