Recruitment consultancies make up 15 of this year’s ‘The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200’, with London-based, technology, media & telecommunications (TMT) recruiter Arrows Group leading the pack.
This year’s figure of 15 is up on last year’s, when 10 staffing companies appeared in the list.
Arrows Group works with over 450 organisations on a global basis from offices in the UK and Europe and was named as the sixth fastest-growing recruitment company in Europe (Recruiter FAST 50 2014).
In terms of region, Arrows Group represents the highest-ranked company in London, with international sales climbing 144% per annum to £8.9m this year, placing the firm at No.8 in the national rankings.
James Parsons, chief executive of Arrows Group told Recruiter that they are particularly proud of being the top placed London firm “especially considering the other firms that are placed in the list”.
“What’s driven this growth is that we’ve been operating in Europe for the past four years, and it’s been a testament to the great work we’ve been doing across Amsterdam and Munich. We’re very proud of the teams over there and they have been performing exceptionally,” he added.
‘The Sunday Times International Track 200’ ranks Britain's mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing international sales, measured over their latest two years of available accounts, with minimum sales of £25m.
David Spencer-Percival, CEO of global energy recruiter Spencer Ogden, which placed No.17 on the list, said the company’s unique focus on the energy sector has meant they have had to “continually adapt to the changing landscape”.
Recruitment agencies which made it in to the top 200 are Arrows Group (8), iKas Group (13), Compello Staffing Group (15), Spencer Ogden (17), GCS Recruitment Specialists (27), Oil Consultants (45), Staffgroup (53), LA International (95), Air Energi (110), Next Ventures (115), Quanta Consultancy Services (128), Tangent International (153), Kin-Tec (168), Penta Consulting (177) and Orion Group (195).
