Following yesterday’s launch of the government’s apprenticeship campaign ‘Get In, Go Far’, 58 new apprentices started work at BAE Systems in Glasgow.

The apprentices at the British multinational defence, security and aerospace company will gain experience in designing and building naval ships, including the Royal Navy’s aircraft carriers and offshore patrol vessels.
As reported yesterday on recruiter.co.uk, the government is supporting calls to boost the number of apprentices across the UK, and as part of the Get In, Go Far campaign is working with employers to increase apprenticeship placements for young people.
