East England timber and builders merchant Ridgeons has appointed Ann Corbyn as HR director. 

She joins the team from affordable housing provider bpha, where she was involved in leading growth and improvement projects.

Corbyn has a specialism for HR development strategies and has held a number of HR roles at organisations such as CHS Group, AMP Financial Services and Tesco.

On her appointment, she said she was “massively encouraged by the talent and ambition” in the group, and that she wanted to position the company as a place of choice for work.
