Internet retailer Amazon has announced plans to create 1,000 new permanent jobs at its UK distribution centres over the coming months.

According to a statement from the company, it has 6,000 permanent employees in distribution and customer service centres in the UK.
The company has eight fulfilment centres across the UK – Doncaster, Dunfermline, Gourock, Hemel Hempstead, Milton Keynes, Peterborough, Rugeley and Swansea Bay.
