The countdown is on – there is only a week to go until the winners of Recruiter’s inaugural Investing in Talent Awards are announced at a lunchtime awards ceremony on 22 October.

In this week’s video, we hear from two awards judges about what could be done better in the recruitment industry.

Stonewall head of workplace Simon Feeke says while work is being done on gender equality, more needs to be done to support greater diversity and inclusion.

And Institute of Corporation Responsibility and Sustainability project director Rowena Webster echoes Feeke’s call.

Judging for the awards took place last month, with the shortlist released soon after.

The awards were launched earlier this year to recognise recruitment businesses and individuals demonstrating a passion for people. They also showcase recruitment businesses as employers of choice and recruitment as a rewarding career.

The winners will pick up their prizes at the Awards lunch and ceremony at the Congress Centre in Central London next week. There are still a few seats left, so visit www.investingintalent.co.uk to book your places today.
