Business services organisation RTC Group has bought specialist engineering recruiter RIG Energy from Recruitment Investment Group for a cash consideration of £875k.
Milton Keynes-based RIG Energy recruits domestic and commercial gas engineers.
According to a statement, it will be integrated as a complementary business into RTC’s subsidiary Ganymede Solutions, which specialises in recruitment of contingent and temporary labour into industries such as rail.
RTC chief executive Andy Pendlebury said in the statement, it was a “milestone” acquisition and adds scale and sector reach to the Ganymede business.
Optima Corporate Finance advised Recruitment Investment Group on the transaction.
