Indonesian employees positive about employment

More than nine in 10 Indonesian employees expect employment opportunities to improve or be maintained in the next year, according to a survey from global specialist recruiter Michael Page.

The research, published today (25 March), reveals 94% of Indonesian workers anticipate job openings to have stayed the same or to have improved over the next 12 months. Of this group 53% expect an improvement.

The main reason respondents gave for seeking a change in role is a pay rise (24%), followed by career progression (18%).
