A company statement said there was increasing demand for engineering and technical talent for the oil & gas, construction, infrastructure and mining sectors in the region.

Oram said in the same statement that skilled candidates with experience in technical trades, procurement and management were in high demand, especially with the country’s first major gas project, PNG LNG, now in operation.

Oram was previously Brisbane-based section manager for global recruiter Hays.
