Australia’s government has launched a national inquiry into employment discrimination against older people and those with disabilities.
In a statement released yesterday (15 April), the government said the inquiry would explore practical steps to reduce such discrimination.
The inquiry will be led by age and disability discrimination commissioner Susan Ryan and will consult broadly across Australia, including the community and employers.
The Commissioner will report her findings in July 2016.
