US healthcare staffing specialist AMN Healthcare has seen revenues climb 36% year-on-year, according to Q1 2015 results.

The group’s results, released yesterday, reveal revenue increased to $327.5m (£215.3m) in the period, while gross profit rose to $101.4m, up 37% year-on-year and net income increased to $12.2m, up 60% on the same period last year. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) also rose 58% to $33.3m on Q1 2014.

Commenting on the results, AMN Healthcare president and chief executive Susan Salka attributed the group’s performance in the quarter to positive trends in the US healthcare industry, as well as “outstanding” execution across all business segments, which has resulted in better than anticipated revenue and growth in profitability.
