US-listed healthcare recruiter Cross Country Healthcare has seen Q1 revenue increase 57% year-on-year to US$186m (£116.6m), though down 1% sequentially.

US-listed healthcare recruiter Cross Country Healthcare has seen Q1 revenue increase 57% year-on-year to US$186m (£116.6m), though down 1% sequentially.

The company’s financial results for the quarter ended 31 March show consolidated gross profit margin was 25.3%, down 50 basis points year-over-year and flat sequentially.

The nurse and allied staffing division led the growth for the company, with revenue from services up 85% year-on-year and 1% sequentially to $149m.

Physician staffing, on the other hand, saw revenue decrease 4% year-on-year and 10% sequentially to $27m.
