Education staffing specialist TeacherActive has appointed Rob Browett managing director.

Browett initially started his recruitment career in his teens. In addition to recruitment, his career has also included a stint in the insurance industry. 

He joined TeacherActive in 2008 and has been a director responsible for regional development since 2012. 

In his role as MD he takes over day to day running of the company from founders Jason Uppal and Simon Ryder.
