The Western Union Company, a US financial services and communications firm, has elected current executive chairman of global recruiter ManpowerGroup Jeffrey A Joerres to the company’s board of directors.

Joerres will serve on Western Union’s corporate governance and public policy committee, and the compensation and benefits committee of the board of directors until the next annual election of directors in 2016.
