The Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo) has appointed Gill Hamilton-Orr as HR manager & member services liaison.

She was previously HR manager at technical engineering recruiter Capital International Staffing.

Commenting on Hamilton-Orr’s appointment, APSCo chief executive Ann Swain said the creation of a dedicated HR function at the trade body was in response to APSCo’s expansion over the past couple of years.

The move follows April's appointment of APSCo’s first permanent finance director Stephen Hill.
