British outsourcing company Serco Group has promoted Julia Rogers to the role of managing director of home affairs.

Rogers moves from her role in defence business services for the company. Prior to that she worked as business service director for multinational infrastructure group Balfour Beatty, a company which she was employed by for four years and seven months. 

She is based in Bacup, Lancashire.
