US healthcare staffing specialist Cross Country Healthcare has agreed to sell its education division to education provider PESI for US$8m (£5m).

US healthcare staffing specialist Cross Country Healthcare has agreed to sell its education division to education provider PESI for US$8m (£5m).

The transaction is due to complete in Q3 2015. 

Cross Country Healthcare says it plans to use the funds generated from the sale in further investments for revenue growth including acquisitions, to implement and finance its strategic objectives, to reduce debt and for “general business purposes”.
