Financial staffing specialist Watson Moore has merged with finance, IT, HR and executive level recruiter Axon Resourcing.

The business will be led by executive chairman David Moore and managing director Andrew Edwards, while Virginia Mellers will be operations director and Derrick Watson will lead the firm’s newly formed national chief financial officer practice.  

Eric Tomlinson, who handles public sector recruitment at Axon Resourcing, will oversee further roll out across new locations of the firm’s public sector practice.

The newly merged business now has six offices nationwide, employing a team of 57.

Both brand names will be retained.
