Recruitment giant Adecco has appointed Han Ploos van Amstel as group chief financial officer.

Ploos van Amstel was most recently CFO of COFRA Group from 2009 to 2013, before acting as co-CEO of retailer C&A Europe for a transition period until 2015.

COFRA Group is a privately held company, operating in fashion retail, commercial real estate and private equity.

Based in Switzerland, he takes up his new role from 1 September and joins the group’s board of directors. 

His appointment follows previous chief financial officer Dominik de Daniel’s decision to step down in May. He left his post at the end of July.
