Energy, finance and law staffing specialist Eximius has appointed Dan Hammond-Smith as team leader for its new smart energy practice.

Energy, finance and law staffing specialist Eximius has appointed Dan Hammond-Smith as team leader for its new smart energy practice.

The practice will initially focus on the smart grid aspect of the sector, sourcing technical and commercial talent across the UK, Europe and the US.

The types of smart grid projects the team will work on include metering, communications, sensing and control, across both the residential and commercial sectors. Clients range from utilities to software developers and hardware installers.

Hammond-Smith joins from finance and technology recruiter Caspian One, where he was a manager, and is based in Southampton.
