Finnair seeks 200 pilots for new fleet

Finnish airline Finnair is recruiting for 200 permanent pilots to help man its new fleet of 19 Airbus planes, the Helsinki Times reports.

Finnish airline Finnair is recruiting for 200 permanent pilots to help man its new fleet of 19 Airbus planes, the Helsinki Times reports.

About 60 of those new pilots will be in place by autumn.

The publication reports current pilots employed on fixed-term contracts will be given preference. 

The announcement follows one earlier this summer in which the airline said it was to hire more than 100 cabin crew.
