Cross Country Healthcare completes sale of education business to PESI

US healthcare staffing specialist Cross Country Healthcare has completed the previously announced sale of its education business, Cross Country Education, to PESI for an aggregate purchase price of US$8m (£5.2m), plus potential consideration of $0.5m.

US healthcare staffing specialist Cross Country Healthcare has completed the previously announced sale of its education business, Cross Country Education, to PESI for an aggregate purchase price of US$8m (£5.2m), plus potential consideration of $0.5m.

According to a company statement, Cross Country Education provides in-person seminars to healthcare professionals and was “non-core to the company's business”. 

Cross Country Healthcare intends to use the net proceeds from the transaction to finance further investments for revenue growth, including future acquisitions.
