US-based engineering and IT recruiter CDI has acquired Boston-headquartered IT recruiter EdgeRock Technologies.

EdgeRock will become a division of CDI and continue to operate under the EdgeRock Technology Partners brand name. The current EdgeRock leadership team will continue to manage day-to-day operations of the business.

Total transaction consideration at closing was around $31m (£20.2m) in cash, subject to standard working capital adjustments. CDI will pay up to an additional $4m of cash consideration contingent on future operating performance.
