Education recruiter Academic Appointments has appointed Peter Riley as general manager.

Riley joins next month to oversee the general running of Academic Appointments from construction recruiter Rullion Build, where he was managing director.

Meanwhile, the firm has appointed Rik Robinson as special educational needs and disability (SEND) business development consultant.

The former assistant head teacher’s remit will be developing relationships with new and current clients within SEN. He will be based in the firm’s new office in Leeds.

Also joining are sixth-form leavers Alisha Kelly and Matthew Morrish as apprentice marketing assistants.

All of the new recruits will be based at the firm’s new office in Leeds.
