US natural resource company MDU Resources Group has appointed Anne Jones as vice president of human resources. 

In her expanded role Jones, who joined the corporation in 1982 at Montana-Dakota Utilities, will oversee HR at MDU Resources, as well as the corporation's business units WBI Energy the utility group, which includes Montana-Dakota Utilities, Great Plains Natural Gas, Cascade Natural Gas and Intermountain Gas.

She succeeds Mark Del Vecchio, who left the company in October 2015.
