US healthcare recruiter Cross Country Healthcare has appointed Timothy Fischer as president of subsidiary Medical Doctor Associates.

Prior to joining Cross Country Healthcare, Fischer served in several senior executive roles, including most recently as chief operating officer for talent acquisition firm Mitchell Martin in New York.
