Korean student tries to ‘break in’ to recruitment
Some people will do anything to get the job of their dreams. Even if, as the Korea Times reports, they risk arrest and a criminal record.
The publication reports on the sad tale of a South Korean student who repeatedly broke in to a government building in Seoul in an ultimately futile attempt to alter the results of his recruitment test for low-ranking civil servants.
According to the National Police Agency (NPA), the student first attempted to steal a test paper. But having taken the test, he then entered the building a total of five times, managing to open a 16th floor door with a pass code, and getting into the computer of the official in charge of administering the test. The NPA said they are seeking an arrest warrant for the man.
To what lengths have you seen your candidates go to secure a job? And what was your reaction?
