Technology, finance and engineering recruiter GCS Recruitment has opened a New York office.

The firm said the city is an attractive prospect for Generation X and Millennials, with New York creating more tech jobs than Silicon Valley in the last five years.

The office houses four consultants and aims to hire a further eight within the next year, with a financial and construction division also planned by next year.
