Sydney-based recruitment specialist and management consultant Keith Henry Sheldrick has been convicted of managing two companies while disqualified and given a A$1k (£600) two-year good behaviour bond.

An investigation by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission found Sheldrick continued to act in the management of All Recruiting Services Pty Ltd (All Recruiting Services) and Sheldrick Nominees Pty Ltd (Sheldrick Nominees) despite being disqualified by the ASIC in August 2009 from managing companies for a five years.

The ASIC said Sheldrick had breached the Corporations Act by “making, or participating in making, decisions that affected the whole, or a substantial part, of the business of the companies All Recruiting Services and Sheldrick Nominees”.

Sheldrick pleaded guilty on 22 November 2016 to two charges of managing a corporation while disqualified.
