• Indian online recruitment marketplace Aasaanjobs has won 40 new clients since its expansion into Ahmedabad in the Western state of Gujarat.

These new clients include Burger King, IIFL, Reliance Group brands, Religare and Tata AIA.

• Tokyo-based global recruiter Boyd & Moore Executive Search has acquired Japanese staffing specialist TechnoPro. TechnoPro posts around $1bn (£770m) revenue, placing more than 13,000 engineers across industrial, manufacturing, automotive and technology sectors.

M&A specialist Boxington Corporate Finance advised on the deal, the value of which was not disclosed.

• Recruitment, training and conferencing group RTC’s Ganymede Energy, a division of Ganymede Solutions, has been chosen by energy company SSE to source, train and provide a minimum of 250 dual fuel installers for its smart-meter rollout programme.   The initial term of the contract signed on 25 July, runs until 31 December 2020 and has a revenue value of £28m.

Horton Group International North America has transitioned over to Invenias, a cloud-based platform for executive and strategic hiring. Horton International is a global retained executive search firm with more than 40 offices in the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

PayStream has reached agreement to become the exclusive supplier of payroll and accounting services to specialist professional recruitment agency Robert Walters.

• Multiple-brand global recruitment group Phaidon International has agreed a partnership with Loughborough Students Men’s Rugby to become the club’s headline sponsor for the 2017/18 season.
