Housing development creates hundreds of jobs in Teesside
The Teesside region is to be boosted by the creation of hundreds of construction jobs.
Stockton-based civil engineering firm HMH Civils has created 10 full-time roles and 250 jobs for local construction workers through landing a £2.5m contract at the luxury Wynyard Park self-build housing development.
Local paper the Gazette reports the firm, which specialises in civil engineering and house-building projects, has been selected to deliver the contract for roads and sewers for Wynyard Park’s plots – exclusive pockets of land where people have bought land to design and create their own homes.
