New Invertek Drives factory to create 50 jobs in Wales

Wales’ manufacturing sector stands to benefit to the tune of 50 new jobs, thanks to the building of a new factory in the North-East of the country.

The Shropshire Star reports that Welshpool-based Invertek Drives, which designs, manufactures and markets electronic variable frequency drives for controlling electric motors, has begun construction on its new 5,500sq m factory.

The project has been funded by the Welsh Government.
