Waterworld expands and creates new jobs in Stoke-on-Trent

A Stoke-on-Trent aqua park is to create 100 new jobs thanks to a £10m expansion.

In a statement released this week, British Asian leisure entrepreneur, property investor and star of the Channel 4 TV show Secret Millionaire Mo Chaudry confirmed his privately-owned Waterworld Group will start work on a phased £10m expansion and development plan of the Waterworld complex in Stoke-on-Trent.

The expansion of complex, which will create a further 100 jobs in addition to the current 200 people employed within The Waterworld Group, sees the building of a purpose built 60,000sq ft leisure development alongside the existing aqua theme park.

Plans also include a new M Club Spa & Fitness Club, a new trampoline park, new water rides and attractions, and the arrival of an indoor adventure golf concept called ‘Adventure Mini Island Golf’.
