Dundee manufacturer brings 140 new jobs to the city

Dundee’s manufacturing sector is to be boosted by more than 100 new jobs in the city, according to Dundee’s Evening Telegraph.

The new roles are being created by fuel pump maker Tokheim UK, which is building a £14m extension to its factory at West Pitkerro Industrial Estate in Dundee.

The company is part of US-headquartered, diversified global manufacturer Dover, and will officially rebrand as Dover Fueling Solutions UK within the next few weeks. The additional capacity will enable the firm to maximise efficiency in the fuel pumps production process and increase output.

Around 140 new jobs are being created, 100 of them on a permanent, full-time basis.
