Non-solicit clause would stop agencies soliciting teaching staff

The use of non-solicitation clauses could protect schools against recruiters cold calling teachers they have placed by enabling them to sue these agencies for breach of contract.
Last month schools minister Nick Gibb pledged to look into the issue of recruitment agencies cold calling teachers on school phone lines during school hours and contacting them on their work email addresses after the issue was raised in Parliament by Conservative MP Lucy Frazer.
