PMP launches charity partnership to help victims of modern slavery

PMP Recruitment, part of Cordant Group, has launched a partnership with charity Unseen that will help to raise vital funds and supplies for the victims of modern slavery.
The recruitment specialist will be promoting one fundraising event each month during 2018, while also offering support to victims who may be seeking employment opportunities as they look to rebuild their lives.
PMP will work alongside Cordant Group’s portfolio of expert brands to provide free support to Unseen’s internal recruitment campaigns, including roles such as safe-house managers, support workers and communications officers.
In addition, the recruitment specialist will help to assist modern slavery survivors back into a life of independence through occupational health support, back-to-work schemes, apprenticeships and flexible work placements.
Jamie Reynolds, managing director of PMP, said: “Unseen delivers fantastic work, and we will look to offer support and raise vital funds that will be used to assist the many poor people who have fallen victim of modern slavery practices.”
In September 2017, Cordant Group announced it was to become the largest social enterprise in the UK, reinvesting all its profits into initiatives and programmes designed to improve lives and society.
