Roll up for new roles at Wicksteed Park in Kettering

Kettering’s hospitality and leisure sector is being boosted to the tune of 100 full and part-time jobs.
The second-oldest theme park in the UK, opened in 1921 in Kettering, Northamptonshire, Wicksteed Park has undergone a major renovation and is recruiting for roles ahead of its official reopening on 29 March.
The Northamptonshire Telegraph reports the theme park is holding recruitment days in its pavilion on Wednesday, 28 February (4pm to 7pm) and Saturday, 3 March (10am to 4pm), with 120 jobs on offer across all parts of the park, including catering, rides, attractions and customer service.
All recruits will be given full training before the park officially opens and will have the chance of working with park mascot Wicky Bear – what’s not to love?
Oh, and apparently, the oldest – still open – theme park in the UK is Blackgang Chine on the Isle of Wight, which opened in the 1840s.
