• 1Staff has joined the Recruitment & Employment Confederation as a business partner. 1Staff is a scalable, flexible applicant tracking, compliance, credentialing system and CRM built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 for recruitment and staffing companies.

• Recruitment trade body APSCo’s Compliance+ for Education accreditation has been recognised by Crown Commercial Service’s Supply Teacher framework, which went out to tender last week.

Organisations that are bidding to provide temporary and fixed-term teaching and non-teaching roles through each of the three lots (direct provision, master vendor and neutral vendor) must hold an industry standard certificate from an approved accreditation body, such as APSCo’s Compliance+.

The agreement will cover the provision of all temporary and fixed-term teaching and non-teaching roles, ranging from unqualified teaching assistants, cover supervisors and supply teachers, up to head teacher and leadership roles. Suppliers that do not currently hold such a certificate can be awarded a place on the agreement but will not be classed as a framework supplier – or be capable of supplying under the agreement – until the accreditation is confirmed.

• Eden Scott has agreed a new partnership with NHS Scotland. The Edinburgh-headquartered recruiter has been named as number one supplier on the framework agreement for executive and senior manager search and selection for all NHS boards across Scotland for the next two years, with the option of a further two years.

The contract includes executive search, shortlisting, management of interviews, management of offers, assessment centres and psychometric testing.

• US-based warehouse, management and office staffing specialist Go2 Staffing Solutions and Go2 Perimeter Staffing have agreed a strategic partnership with 1st Team Advertising. This partnership will allow Go2’s staffing brands to leverage 1st Team Advertising’s proprietary technology and processes for effectively recruiting candidates online via websites, games and mobile applications.

• The Global Product Innovation Group of software company Meitu is now using Blockchain professional network SpringRole to validate employment information for internship candidates. This allows students of leading colleges in India to certify their experience using the SpringRole professional network.

• Hygiene and health company Essity has selected enterprise cloud applications provider Workday’s Human Capital Management (HCM) to transform and simplify the employee experience and drive engagement for its workforce.
