Hutchinson-O’Neill leaves Nationwide for StepStone

Recruiter’s In-house Resourcing Leader of the Year is taking up a role at online job board StepStone.

Katrina Hutchinson-O’Neill, who picked up her award at the Recruiter Awards at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel last week (see above, in the middle of host Milton Jones and Kesh Ladwa from Nationwide), has accepted the role of global head of talent & resourcing at the global job board giant, stepping down from her post as director of resourcing at Nationwide Building Society.

During her time at Nationwide, she successfully transformed Nationwide’s resourcing function into a holistic resourcing functions, which in addition to delivery, now also spans workforce planning and a sophisticated contingent worker programme.

Commenting on her new role, Hutchinson-O’Neill said: “I am excited to see what the Nationwide resourcing team are going to deliver over the coming years. I genuinely believe that it’s currently the strongest in-house team in the UK and I know that I am leaving its future in very safe hands. StepStone is one of the most exciting businesses in our industry, and I am thrilled to be joining them in what is a new role for their organisation.”

She will continue her term as 2018 co-chair for the Resourcing Leaders 100 (RL100) and chair of the Contingent Resourcing Leaders 50 (CRL50).
