EU law could hit recruiters using memes under new copyright rules

Recruiters using memes to market their business could see these memes removed by social media platforms, if new European copyright rules are given the go-ahead.
Last week the Metro reported on proposed rules contained in Article 13 of the Copyright Directive that demand platforms ‘take measures to ensure the functioning of agreements concluded with rights-holders for the use of their works’.
