Restaurant seeks site manager with moo-sical skills

Can you play the piano? Do you like cows? Then step this way – we have an udderly brilliant role for you.
Herefordshire-based restaurant Green Cow Kitchens is seeking a pianist/general site manager to oversee the restaurant’s kitchens and a £3m events venue due to be completed in October, called Crumplebury.
Joe Evans, managing director and founder of Green Cow and Crumplebury, said: “We care about great food and the experience of sharing that with your nearest and dearest. As such, we are devoted to giving the animals on our home farm an excellent quality of life. A happy cow provides the best meat, so why not move our grand piano into a field to entertain the herd?
“I find that a 5.30am start is best received. While Elton [John] is a particular favourite of mine, the herd aren’t averse to a more classical piece.
“Although we’d love someone who’s capable of playing a tune for our cattle (we’re open to alternative instruments), we welcome non-musical applicants to the role of general site manager, the primary responsibility of which will be to run Crumplebury.”
Green Cow, which was developed by Joe and his wife Keeley, describes its ethos as being centred on quality, locally sourced, seasonal ingredients and charming, attentive and relaxed service.
