Winning Investing in Talent Award helped O’Loughlin’s entire team

Winning an Investing In Talent Award wasn’t just a win for Tom O’Loughlin (pictured) but his whole agency.
Ahead of Friday’s deadline for entries in this year’s Investing In Talent Awards, Recruiter caught up with O’Loughlin, who was Most Inspiring Team Leader/Manager at the inaugural Awards (2014) when working at Nicoll Curtin.
Loughlin, now a director at Summit Recruitment, told Recruiter: “In the months following my winning the Investing in Talent Award, our company and my team received a lot of additional attention. Although it was an individual award, it was a sign of recognition of the hard work that my team had put in over the previous couple of years and they took a lot of pride in it. It certainly helped when we were interviewing potential new recruits, some of whom used it as a discussion point. A couple of years after winning the award I set up Summit Recruitment and it is still something that I look back on with pride.”
Recruiters have until Friday (12 July) to get their entries into this year’s Awards. Click here to be in with a chance of winning.
